Hey guys (believe it or not) I'm the author of the Bored Elon account. I haven't received any official notice of why the account was taken down, and as far as I know, no legal action is being taken.

The account was/is being followed by about 50 employees at Twitter AND Ev Williams, the founder of Twitter. No one ever game me any reason to think I was violating the rules. Hopefully this will be resolved soon as I know a lot of people were enjoying the feed.

Thanks. Me too. I think that Twitter is trying really hard to avoid false information and negative impersonation right now. I probably got sucked into the mix and am hoping that it does get resolved. Best case scenario, it gets fixed with a few tweaks, worst case scenario, I'll share my story with a big tech blogs who have written to me.

Thanks everyone for the support! I'm back up. Reason for suspensive was a fake verified badge. They're apparently quite sensitive to that these days. -BEM
